I am supporting Including Kids Autism Center by building a puzzle during the month of July! Help me finish my puzzle, by donating/supporting during our "Puzzle-a-thon." I've been a part of this beautiful non-profit organization for several years. There's not enough words to describe how special this place is, not only to me, but to our community. They've worked so hard to stay open and close to keep staff and clients safe during the pandemic.  As you all know nonprofits run on donations, if you're able to give, please know any amount is appreciated and its going to a great cause.

What is Including Kids Autism Center?

On April 21, 2003, Including Kids, Inc. opened its doors with the goal of serving children with autism and related disorders using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Locally there are few programs quite like Including Kids, Inc. that serve children, adolescents and young adults who have a range of abilities and needs including challenging behaviors and limited verbal ability. Their multifaceted program includes full time, part time, after school, parent training, and outreach activities that teach life skills, self-awareness, self-control, communication, social skills and academic training to the level of each individual’s abilities. It is a vital goal for 100% of their clients to be included in the community. This includes in school, at job sites, in group programs and through social activities. Including Kids has served over 1000 families to date.

Why does Including Kids Autism Center need our support?

As the needs of the autism community evolve so do the programs Including Kids offers. Your support allows needs to be met in a truly meaningful way. Support for Including Kids means supporting our friends and neighbors that have a loved one on the spectrum. It allows Including Kids to continue to offer a free Parents Night Out program, babysitters training, and community workshops. It continues to allow training for first responders and healthcare professionals on best practices when interacting with someone on the autism spectrum. It provides opportunities for young adults to receive job training skills and internships. You are truly opening doors and creating meaningful opportunities when you support Including Kids Autism Center.

Any donation is life-changing. Please consider supporting my puzzle building effort by contributing to this fundraiser today!

Thank you.
